Description
In the 3rd Year Later Knowledge Guide, the students’ History assignment for the year is to read the entire Bible history, from Genesis to Revelation. While much of this history is straightforward enough, there are several passages which are difficult for the reader to understand, because they describe unfamiliar places, technical specifications for construction, and even detailed geneaologies.
In those sorts of situations, a good picture really is worth a thousand words. And our Reforming forefathers went to a lot of trouble to make diagrams of the things described in these difficult passages, and place those diagrams in the Geneva Bibles themselves, so Bible readers could better understand the scriptures.
They may be old, but the Geneva Bible diagrams are very helpful to this day! Those diagrams, painstakingly gathered from four different Geneva Bibles, are collected into this Supplement, that our 3rd Year students might take profit from them, as generations of Christians did in times past.
The 3rd Year Supplement contains beautiful illustrations, maps, and detailed family trees to give the student a visual image of the scriptural texts in those difficult-to-picture passages arranged according to where each fits in the students’ readings.
The 3rd Year Later Knowledge Guide Supplement is sewn-bound with layflat pages, and is useful not only for 3rd Year students, but also for the whole family as a helpful Bible study resource.
